Information we collect

JoseLimo may collect:

• Account information, including name, phone number, role, hotel assignment and password credentials stored in protected form.
• Driver and vehicle information, including vehicle type, color, license plate, availability and passenger capacity.
• Trip information, including reservation name, passenger phone number, room number, pickup, destination, date and time, passenger and luggage counts, special instructions, price, assigned driver and status history.
• Precise driver location while the driver is on duty and has granted location permission.
• Device information needed for session security, application updates and requested push notifications.
• Message delivery, consent and opt-out records associated with JoseLimo transactional text messages.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate authorized users, coordinate trips, prevent duplicate requests, assign drivers, provide authorized trip status and location information, send requested account invitations and trip notifications, respond to support requests, maintain security and comply with law.

Driver location

Driver location supports dispatch operations while a driver is on duty. A requesting hotel employee may see the assigned vehicle’s location only during the limited pickup phase allowed by the application. Detailed location history is normally removed after seven days unless it must be retained longer for safety, a dispute, security or a legal obligation.

Text messaging and mobile information

JoseLimo sends transactional texts only after permission is provided. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of obtaining transportation service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

JoseLimo does not sell mobile information or share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text-message opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

When information is shared

Information is shared only as needed with authorized hotel staff, dispatchers, assigned drivers and service providers that support hosting, maps, notifications, communications and security. These providers may process information only to provide their services to JoseLimo. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect safety and rights.

Retention and security

JoseLimo retains account, trip and audit information for operational, safety and recordkeeping needs. Signup links expire and may be canceled. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline SMS messages, reply STOP at any time, or contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information associated with your account. Certain information may be retained when required for legitimate operational, safety or legal reasons.

Children

JoseLimo accounts are intended for authorized adult workers and administrators. We do not knowingly create application accounts for children under 13. An adult arranging transportation may provide limited passenger information when needed to coordinate a trip.
